A person who doesnot have any work is called unemployed person.Unemployment is a huge problem in developing countries. Even the developed countries also face this problem. In Pakistan this problem has assumed a very bad condition. There are two levels of unemployment in our country .
- The uneducated people are more effected of this problem because they have no qualification.
- Unemployment also exists among educated people .Thousand of degree holders are jobless in our country.
The people get frustrated when they do not have any job.There are many unemployed labourers,farm workers and workers who are daily bread winners.Sometimes they do not get work for many days and weeks.In this way people can lead to different unhealthy activities some resort to drug addiction while some join gangs and become terorrist.
There are many causes of unemployment .
- Our education system has many defects. It does not fulfill our social and economic needs.It aims at producing clerks and peons instead of businessman.
- Our country is not much advanced in industry there are not many industries in it .We cannot absorb all jobless people .
- Our population is increasing day by day .It us difficult to produce enough job opportunities.
Unemployment has very bad effect upon the development of the country .It can increase crime rate .It can lead to terrorism. Unemployed people don’t play role in the economy of country. It brings wake ,hunger ,starvation and diseases.It brings a feeling of revolt among unemployed.
